In the article the results of Ukraine’s activities as a non-permanent member of the Security Council during 2016-the beginning of 2017 are considered according to the set priorities. Certain problems of UN including the necessity of reforming Security Council and abolition of veto and Ukraine's position in this context are analyzed. Resolutions supported by Ukraine are considered, the possibilities of using the status of non-permanent member of the Security Council to resist the aggression of RF are analyzed.
