Proceedings of the 2018 ACM Conference on Supporting Groupwork

marks a memorable anniversary for the Group conference, which evolved from the ACM conference series on Office Information Systems (1982-1990), then Organizational Computing Systems (1991-1995), and finally, the International Conference on Supporting Group Work (1997present). This year, the community meets for the 20 th time to discuss and debate technical, social, and organizational features of collaboration and cooperation. What began with a focus on the office context evolved with the appearance of lower-cost, versatile networked systems to understand how groups work in a variety of contexts and conditions.
