Nanoclay Effect on Runoff and Sediment Cangrs in Laboratory Small Plots

Abstract

In recent years, the concerns has increased about soil erosion. Clays and nanoclays are the most important components of the earth's ecosystem that the chmical and phisical charactrestices of soil depend to these type and amount. The some clays have the dimentions of nano limit. This ability cause decrease the runoff amount. The present study, the nanoclay effect as newfound conditioner investigate in soil and water conservation under the conditions of simulated rainfall using simulator. The results showed that the conservation percentage of runoff voulume, sediment concentration and soil erosion after nanoclay application was +49.48, +93.84 and +92.07 percent, respactively. The results of analysis test of nanoclay application on runoff and sediment showed that the effect of this conditioner was significant on runoff and seiment in level off 99 percent.
