Abstract
Results are presented which show that H/sub 2/O/sub 2/ can be synthesized from O/sub 2/ and H/sub 2/O in the presence of a complex such as (PPh/sub 3/)/sub 2/PdO/sub 2/ with equimolar proportions of H/sub 2/O/sub 2/ and CO/sub 2/ being formed. The reaction proceeds at 20/sup 0/C in a stirred, two-phase water-dichloromethane system. Results of various experiments are tabulated. (BLM)
