In this modern society, energy is indispensable; it powers almost everything we use. The energy industry is undergoing an unparalleled transformation which is directly associated with the uptake of renewable energy. Renewable energy is derived from energy resources that are naturally and constantly replenished. This includes hydroelectric power, solar energy, wind energy, fuel cell, geothermal energy, and biomass energy. This paper presents a brief introduction to renewable energy.
