Abstract

Creating closed loop automatic control systems makes it necessary to identify the model of the controlled object, as well as adjust the parameters of the controller based on a specific controlled criterion. During the identification, it becomes important to create a model that is the correct reflection of the structure and parameters of the object. The suggested method, based on continued fractions and Z-transform that allows avoiding inaccuracies that reduce the control quality. In order to define the direct indicators of the control quality it is necessary to calculate the transfer function of the system, which is not possible without computer technology or plotting each set of values of the controller parameters. This becomes meaningless when a stochastic effect is applied to the input of the system, since the control time in this case will depend not only on the regulator settings, but also on the realization of the random process fed to the system input. In this paper, we propose an approach that determines the time for regulating the system using a formula that depends on the coefficients of the transition characteristic. This will avoid multiple recalculation of its values, and will make it possible to use known methods for adjusting regulators for systems with stochastic input effects.
