Abstract
In this paper, we propose a new formula of Transient Energy Margin for accessing the transient stability in multi-machine power system under condition of the double shot automatic line reclosing. This new formula is tested for the symmetrical and unsymmetrical disturbances occurring in multimachine power system. The typical examples and graphical results are shown for proving the advantages of the new formula and involved the simulation of impact of the generator internal voltage and frequency control in multi-machine power system.
