Abstract

Adult male, pupa and larva of Chironomus (Chironomus) securis sp. n. and only adult male of Chironomus (Chironomus) uncinus sp. n. are described and illustrated from India. Till date the number of species so far described from India is 41 and 70 from the Oriental Region.
