Abstract

This final paper deals with the informative maritime charts and auxiliary maritime charts. It will explain the emergence of charts and the basics of cartography. Informative maritime charts are charts that provide the information needed for navigation, serving as a supplement to the navigation chart. A large part of the Earth's surface is depicted on them. More details will be given on the chart of the sea current, batimetric chart, climatological charts and pilot chart. Auxiliary maritime charts contain various details that seafarers assist in navigation, contain parts of individual sea areas, and provide help in solving some navigational problems. The auxiliary maritime charts include charts of hyperbolic navigation systems, white chart, framework chart, chart of geomagnetic elements, star chart, radar chart.
