Abstract

Before 1990, Romania went through a forced industrialized policy, but after this time, most of the industrial bussiness went bankrupt, and their sites and buildings were abandoned.Nowadays, most of the cities in Romania encounter the problem of abandoned industrial sites.This has become an interesting problem for the local authorities to overcomein the future.The aim of this paper is to study the process of deindustrialization of the country and suggest methods of regenerating the areas.
