Abstract
Diarrhea is one of the communicable desease morbidity and death is relative high. This infectious desease is influenced by several factors such as the environment, the causative agent of the desease, and a host. Diarrheal desease remains a significant health problem because it is the third leading contributor to morbidity and mortality of children in many countries, including Indonesian. Each child had an episode of diarrhea attacks on average 3,3 times per year. Approximately 80% of deahs occur in children aged less than two years. This type of research used in this research is observational analytic with cross sectional study to determine the relationship with the mothers knowledge on diarrhea incidence of diarrhea in children 1-4 years. Total Sample of 54 respondents. The results showed that as many as 30 respondents with less knowledge level, as many as 22 resondents (73,3%) and the incidence of diarrhea while including diarrhea is not as much as 8 respondents (27,79%). Respondents with a good knowledge of the level 24 by 8 respondents (26,7%), the incidence of diarrhea. while as many as 16 respondents (66,7%) with no incidence of diarrhea. There is a relationship with the mothers knowledge on diarrhea incidence of diarrhea in children 1-4 years in Puskesmas Bahorok.
