Abstract

This paper presents a compact feed network system for Ku/Ka dual-band applications. It can operate at about 23.5% bandwidth of Ku-band. A prototype is fabricated, and measured in the Ku/Ka dual bands. Measured results show a good performance. The reflection coefficients at Ku band are less than -17dB, the reflection coefficients at Ka band are less than -15dB, the Rx/Tx isolation in Ku and Ka bands are both better than 85dB.
