Abstract
This book shows a practical application of genre analysis. In particular, it models the use of the Swale's CARS Model in genre analysis. It will guide research genre writers in crafting the IMRD structure of a research paper. Moreover, it will also serve as a basis of conducting further researches in genre analysis because it proposes writing models for structuring the Introduction, Method and Result & Discussion sections of a research paper.
