Abstract

Glycosaminoglycans are an important class of polyanionic polysaccharides with high and various sulfation patterns. This chapter focuses on the reported methods in the literature to introduce sulfate groups on complex oligosaccharides of the linkage region or of chondroitin and heparin sulfate.
