A Career Counseling Model

This paper presents a model integrating some of the major counseling theories, techniques and outcomes that are applicable to the career counseling process. Eight major theories are incorporated and briefly described, and several methods for measuring outcomes are explored. The model's intent is to focus practitioners' attention on the holistic nature of the career counseling process and to emphasize its relationship to counseling theory in general.
