Abstract
Lesson plan is the important thing for teachers before they teach the students. To make the teaching learning process run well the teacher must have lesson plan. After the teacher makes the lesson plan, she must apply all of the steps in the lesson plan. The most important thing in the lesson is the learning process, how the teacher canteach the students with media, method, and technique that is appropriate with the syllabus and the situation of the students. The main point is how the teachercan implement the lesson plan in the classroom and make the students active in the teaching learning process. This research aims to examine the implementation of lesson plan and the effect of the lesson plan for students by the English teacher of SD 1 Dersalam Bae Kudus. This is a kind of qualitative research. The subjects werethe English teacher and the fifth grade students of SD 1 Dersalam Bae Kudus.The data were collected through observation and interview. The data was analyzed using four steps, there are selecting, categorizing, coding and interpreting data. This research found that the teacher can implement almost all of the steps in the lesson plan. Altought there are some steps that not use but the teaching learning process still run well. In the lesson the teacher gave the material to the students, she used media and technique, and she also made the students couldbe active in the lesson. The students enjoyed in teaching learning process and they gave feedback from this lesson. The teacher hopes that the students more serious in teaching learning process and get a good score. I hope that the teacher can implement the lesson plan more effective and efficient so the students can get the point of the lesson.
