Abstract
The present investigation conservation tillage increases organic carbon content in soil with increasing carbon sequestration and influencing majority of soil properties. It is economic and conserving approach to replenish degraded soils. Conservation tillage is thus essential from the view point of sustainability of soil fertility and productivity.
