Abstract

In Europe Network Centric Warfare, NCW for short, is a subject that has received little attention, and in view of the current development it is time for a fundamental exploration of the NCW concept. This article provides an insight into the characteristics, the advantages of NCW and possible consequences for the design and operations of military units as described in the Pentagon studies.
