Abstract
The small core size, low attenuation and low dispersion characteristics of single-mode fiber require the adoption of a unique set of measurement techniques. A production measurement system for single-mode fiber capable of characterizing fiber end geometry, attenuation, mode field width, wavelength cutoff and dispersion will be described.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
