Effect mouthwash containing policresulen as a supplement of treatment gingivitis and improve oral hygiene.

Gingivitis is an inflammantory process that occurs on the gingival tissues in response to the presence of bacterial plaque. Gingival and periodontal disease prevention carried out the means of plaque control including mechanical cleansing and the use mouthwash. Policresulen an organic acid capable polimolekular fight infection and prevent inflammantion. Policresulen is also astrigent and blood pressure. \nPuspose: To determine the effect of mouthwash containing policresulen as adjunctive therapy in reducing inflammation in gingivitis. \nMethods: gingivitis in patient with GI and OHI-S on days 4 and 7 after treatment. \nResult: in this study found significant differences (p <0,05) at day 4 and day 7 between the moushwash and the control group. Oral hygiene were also measured in this study by using the simplified oral hygiene index (OHI-S). in this research note significant difference (p<0,05) at day 7 between the mouthwash and the control group.
