Abstract
Microservice architectures are considered with much promises to achieve DevOps in IT organizations—mainly because they split applications into services that can be updated independently the ones from each other. But the challenge does not stop there: updating microservices still require DevOps teams to specify complex pipelines of commands to execute. In this paper, we propose a framework that strongly simplifies such updates: DevOps teams just specify the desired target architecture for their microservice application, instead of specifying how to reach it. In addition, updates managed with our framework can conform to various SLA requirements and resist to failures.
