近年，産業連関表の作成体制や作成方法に大きな課題が投げかけられている． 昭和50年表から産業連関表の作表に携わった作業メンバーの一員として，経済産業省が記録している文献などから，日本の産業連関表の作成方法やそのための作業，使用する一次統計などについて，同省の担当部門及び作業状況を中心に紹介していくこととする． この内容が，今後の産業連関表の作成に少しでも役立てば幸いである．
