Postoperative complications in patients with coarctation of the aorta as a result of late diagnosis of congenital heart disease (own clinical observations)

The article provides information about congenital heart disease — coarctation of the aorta. Types of surgical treatment for this pathology are described depending on the age of the patient. The main complications of this disease without surgical intervention and the causes of postoperative complications are determined. Information about older children with coarctation of the aortic is presented. Clinical manifestations of congenital heart disease are described. Due to late diagnosis of the disease, surgical correction in patients was performed after 16 years of age.
