Abstract
The article outlines the problem of the insufficient study of the Russian choral art of the second half of the XVIII century and the beginning of the XIX century, and, in particular, the work of the outstanding Russian composer, conductor S. A. Degtyarev. Recently, the publications by A. V. Lebedeva-Emelina have begun to appear illuminating the features of his musical language. The paper presents the results of the analysis of two concerts by Degtyarev, included in the musical collection “Leningrad Chamber Choir.
