Abstract

This paper investigate the present situation and history of voltage class series of major city power grids at home and abroad. The technical and economic characteristic of 35 kV and 110 kV is analyzed. The advantage of 110 kV is demonstrated. With the increase of load density, the power supply capacity of 500/220/110/10kV is obviously improved, and the advantages of economy are more prominent. For areas with 35kV power supply, the development and transition of 110kV should be considered as the load density increases.
