Retracted: Sex based histological comparison of Haversian canal in cortical bones of Malaysian citizens

Histological haversian canal comparison between sexes in human cortical long bone differs with respect to regions and races of the world and begs to know how it varies among Malaysian citizens. A total number of 42 samples were collected from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with age ranges from 20-70 years old. Bone thin slices were obtained from the mid-shaft of long bones. A detailed description of sample slide preparation from the bone specimen is also part of this research. 8 microscopic images were taken from each specimen having an observation region of 1.228mm 2 for each image. Since haversian canal parameters change with respect to age, the comparison was done in each decade. Although this research showed the observed differences, further studies are required to validate the outcomes and compare ethnic groups based sex differences.
