Abstract

This paper describes a real time PC based Automatic pressure controller using Lab View software. Pressure transducer is designed with a diaphragm and Hall probe sensor. The displacement of diaphragm due to pressure is altered to a voltage signal with a hall probe sensor. This voltage (mV) signal is again amplified and renewed into optical signal for transmission through inflammable areas. In another approach the mV signal is converted into 1-5 volt signal using proper signal conditioning circuit. This signal can be communicated and indicated to a remote distance. The PC based indicator and controller has been designed using LabView software. After designing and fabricating the whole system the experiment is performed.
