Optimal Solution of an Assignment problem as a special case of Transportation Problem

Abstract

Assignment problem play an important role when assigning jobs to the workers. It is very crucial objective in mathematics and it is also discussed in real physical world. In this paper, we discuss a new method for solving an assignment problem. Also, the numerical examples has been given to understand the methodology of proposed method.
