FHWA’s Road Weather Management Program partnered \nwith MDOT to develop a weather responsive traveler \ninformation system called Wx-TINFO. The system, shown \nbelow, integrates multiple weather data sources into one \nprogram, enabling Transportation Operation Center \n(TOC) staff to provide near real-time weather-related \nadvisories and alerts for travelers, thereby improving \noperating conditions during adverse weather conditions.\n
