Abstract

This book examines the benefits of implementing drama and theatre activities into an ELD classroom. The research examines the effectiveness of drama and theatre activities for improving students’ English speaking skills and increasing student confidence with their English speaking abilities. The results demonstrate the increase in student motivation and enthusiasm for performing theatre plays and the immense benefits these drama srategies have on language development.
