Abstract

This chapter presents research developments made in the field of seismic assessment of reinforced concrete (RC) frame buildings. Special attention is given to the case of masonry-infilled RC frames which are very common in Italy and are often damaged in earthquakes, as illustrated by previous events such as the L’Aquila earthquake in Central\nItaly in 2009.
