Abstract
Nowadays, business value is intended to be obtained in online communities through social interactions enabled by social media platforms. In this paper, we presented the measurements and a framework for investigating the relationships within online communities. Social network analysis techniques are applied to the collected data set of online social interactions. Different interactive patterns are identified within the online community. Our study will provide a viable method for investigating relationships within online communities, and help to broaden the theoretical understanding for business practitioners to improve the relationship quality and develop better marketing strategies.
