Abstract
Investigation of the magnetic properties of a series of Ni-Cu-Fe alloys was motivated by the need for telemetry of human body temperature. Ni-Cu-Fe alloys were prepared by levitation melting of compressed chips of the pure metals. Over one hundred alloys were prepared in this manner and measurement of the individual Curie temperatures provided additional information for the Ni-Cu- Fe ternary. The area of the Ni-Cu-Fe ternary investigated was within the limits, 47-53% Copper, 40-48% Nickel, and 4-8% Iron.
