Abstract

The topic of the Bachelor thesis is acute caesarean section. The work is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with caesarean section, its history, epidemiology and terminology. Also discusses the indications for caesarean section, preoperative examination and preparation, types of anaesthesia, surgery methods, complications and postoperative care. In addition, there is also described a newborn after caesarean delivery and vaginal birth after caesarean delivery. In the practical part research investigation primarily concentrated on acute caesarean delivery is evaluated. The research results are presented by using tables, graphs and verbal comments.
