Abstract
In this article, a compact Triband band pass filter (TBBPF) have been presented. It is a microstrip filter. The design of proposed filter is based on resonant junctions called triple band resonant junction (TBRJ) here two open loop coupled resonator are used to form first two band and the third band is formed by using two stubs coupled at both input and output side as well as coupled to each other to tune the bandwidth as well as the center frequency. The center frequencies of designed filter are 2.22GHz, 2.62GHz and 3.1GHz. The designing procedure of filter is simple and also compact as compare to previous papers also without using via(ground) in the design so that the fabrication is also very simple. The insertion loss in each pass bands are low as well as it shows better out of band rejection. The overall response of the proposed filter is relatively better than previous one as it is proved by simulation on ADS (advance design system).
