Abstract

Producing high quality of products and services is the key element of an enterprise. A lot of competition in market leads to an enterprise to increase the productivity through improvements. Lean manufacturing techniques Kaizen, 5S and Six Sigma are adopted by various enterprises to increase their productivity so that their existence in the competitive market will be continue. Although Kaizen events have been growing in popularity since the mid 1990s, but there should be more systematic implementation of Kaizen methodology. The aim of various organizations to implement these lean manufacturing techniques is to reduce the waste elimination. By surveying the industries, the questionnaire is validated by using the index of Croanbach alpha and by using the method of correlation and regression analysis, a factorial analysis is prepared for the purpose of obtaining a better interpretation of the factors. The need is to merge these foreign techniques in Indian industrial culture.
