Abstract
Four Armillaria mellea strains symbiotic with Gastrodia elata were isolated in Zhaotong Prefecture,Yunnan Province, and the growth characteristics of these strains were studied and compared with those of an superior exotic strain Jing-234 of A.mellea.The results showed that there were significant differences in the growth features among these strains, and the average rhizomorph growth rate was ranked in the order as Jing-234 SNA04 SNA02 SNA03 SNA01.Comprehensively speaking, the strain SNA04 performed the best and followed by Jing-234,SNA01 and SNA02 regarding to mycelial germination speed, rhizomorph branching conditions, rhizomorph biomass and other growth characteristics measured 18d after being treated with different fluorescence intensity and in the dark environment.
