Abstract
The theoretical part of the thesis describes the influences of stimulative environment on the development of musical competencies. I focused on the early years of childhood and the activities that have impact on the development of musical competencies and skills. An important part of this is planning the musical activities and the way we realize the musical experience. Further, I define the implementation, the listening and the creating of the music through which a child develops musical capabilities. Also, I emphasize the importance of music education in the Curriculum, since music is a part of the arts and therefore contributes to forming child's personality. \nThe empirical part studies the possibilities of planning and realization of musical activities and contents of the musical meetings that include modern musical literature for children in the first-age group (children aged from 6 months to 3 year olds). \nThe results of the research show that stimulative musical environment plays an important part in developing musical competencies and skills. We adjusted songs and musical activities according to the level of children's development stage. The results demonstrate progress in recognizing sound colour of musical instruments, articulation, singing along with teacher and cooperating in the musical-didactical activities/games. \n
