Traditional engineering has a slow information transmission, information asymmetry and so on. With the development of internet IT and BIM technology, the advantages and functions of IT in engineering management have become more and more apparent. In this paper, by analyzing the IT and BIM technology in the specific application of the project management of each part, to modify and improve the traditional engineering technology and construction methods by computer, communication, automatic control and other advanced technology, to make it more scientific, reasonable and to the benefit of project efficiency, cost reduction and then to improve their economic benefits of the enterprise through perfecting the construction technology and construction method.
