The empirical analysis of industrial structure in Liaoning Province

The shift-share analysis method is the basic method to study industrial structure and industry competition. In this paper, we use the shift-share analysis method to analysis the Liaoning Province's industrial structure. We can draw the following conclusions, Due to historical influences, the first and second industrial structure of Liaoning province is irrational. The industrial structure and competitiveness of the third industry are relatively strong. Therefore, the government departments in Liaoning should adjust the industrial structure of the first and second industries. At the same time, we should develop the third industry, especially the financial industry and service industry.
