Study on logistics efficiency of Anhui Province based on DEA model

The development of logistics and regional economy is complementary to each other, and the study of logistics efficiency is an important foundation to promote regional economic development. Based on the DEA model, this paper constructs the corresponding input-output index, and uses spss software to analyze the reasonableness of the selected indicators. It takes eight cities in the Yangtze Delta of Anhui Province as the resrarch object, chooses five indexes from four aspects including logistics industry employees, total length of highways, fixed assets investment, freight volume and freight turnover. Then, according to the specific data of Anhui Statistical Yearbook in 2015, the paper analyzes the logistics efficiency of Anhui Province in 2014. The results show that the overall efficiency of the development of logistics industry in Anhui Province is low, and the development gap among regions is great due to imbalance between input and output. For example, the comprehensive efficiency, pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency of the logistics industry in Hefei are 1, while the comprehensive efficiency, pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency of Chizhou are 0.382,1 and 0.382. According to this model, the study and analysis of logistics efficiency in Anhui Province can provide some reference for the later development of it.
