Abstract
Ten litters of crossbred piglets were divided randomly into two groups. At 7-21 days old,the piglets of experimental group ate freely and also were forced to eat,and the control group ate freely. The results showed during the suckling, feed intake of each piglet from the forced feeding group was 600.6 g,significantly(P0.01) higher than that of the control group(202.6 g).ADG(during 22-28 d and 29-35 d) was significantly(P0.01) higher than that of the control group. After weaning diarrhea incidence in forced feeding piglets was significantly lower than that of control piglets(P0.01).At 28 d,intragastric pH below 4 of experimental group piglets significantly lower than that of the control group(P0.05) and intestinal E.coli decreased significantly(P0.01);at 35 d,weight of stomach from the forced feeding group was significantly(P0.05) larger than that of the control, and length of villus of stomach and duodenum was significantly(P0.05) higher than that of the control.
