Australia belongs to the world of East Asia and her destiny must lie in her relations with the peoples of the Eastern and Western Pacific. The opportunity and challenge of studying and appreciating the heritage of China will help reveal the oneness of mankind, and help Australia play a vital part in integrating East and West.
