Abstract

Translated from Teplonergetika; 20: No. 2, 5-9(1973). In the second unit of Beloyarsk nuclear power station, steam output is varied by changing the temperature of the feedwater with No. 9 high pressure heater (HPH-9) as well as by additional generation of steam in the separators with integral hoops in them. The characteristics of variation in the superheated steam temperature and in other important parameters of the unit with the main disturbances were obtained from a series of tests under three operational modes of the uniti with operation of two turbines, 113 MW in total capacity; with operation of one turbine, at N = 93 to 95 MW; and with operation of one turbine when the high side flow pressure controller was maintaining a constant steam pressure at the turbine inlet. The parameter responses were studied and averaged and the data obtained on the dynamic characteristics can be used in developing optimal designs. (MCW)
