Abstract
The whole question of the collection and disposal of municipal refuse is one that has of late years been brought prominently before the authorities of many Australian cities, especially since the developments of sanitary science have gone far to master the kindred problems of water supply and sewerage. The question is one that must sooner or later be faced by every growing community.
