Abstract

Modern information technology implementation could be succesful project only if the information system development is coordinated with business system development strategy. Such approach is called strategic planning of information system development (SPIS). Planned business system reengineering and new information system development became two parallel and tightly connected projects. In the paper, based on the experience earned on previous performed projects, authors analyze those connection and present some conceptual and methodological recomendations, which adoption could increase synergetic effect of reengineering project and new information system development project in some organizations.
