Blood glucose control is a fundamental element in the management of diabetes to reduce or even prevent micro- and macro vascular complications. Many patients with diabetes can improve glycemic control by use of Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) systems. However, analysis and interpretation of the datasets obtained from CGM are complicated by the many indices and measures currently proposed for assessment of glycemic variability and the quality of glycemic control
