Abstract
Objective Systematic review the preventive effect of fluoxetine on post-stroke depression. Methods The published literatures were searched from PubMed, Embase, CNKI and other databases from the database building to December 2015. The randomized controlled trials about fluoxetine on post-stroke depression were included. The analysis in this paper was done by meta-analysis model on Stata 12.0. Results Nine case-control studies were adapted.Meta analysis showed that fluoxetine can reduce Hamilton depression scale scores(P 0.05, SMD=-0.115, 95%CI(-0.690, 0.459)). Conclusion Fluoxetine is beneficial for the prophylaxis of post-stroke depression in patients with stroke. Key words: Stroke; Depression; Fluoxetine; Cerebrovascular disease; Meta-analysis
