Using a non-technical writing style and hands-on PROMPT/RESPONSE tutorial approach, it takes readers step-by-step through the creation of all of the drawings necessary for an architectural project — from floor plans, and elevations, through power and lighting plans, to isometric and three-dimensional drawings. Covers the latest version of AutoCAD, Release 2000. Uses a Computer PROMPT/User RESPONSE format that leads readers through each new AutoCAD command. Features exercises that are geared to architects and that provide the opportunity to work with “real world” situations. Follows the graphic development of an architectural project. Contains 500 line drawings. Features Margin Menus that show how to locate each new AutoCAD command within the AutoCAD menus or toolbars. Contains Learning Objectives and Review Questions.
