A catalytic combustor with starting burner has high potential to achieve low NOx emission level. This combustor has the function of starting burner in the vaporizing tube in order to downsize the combustor and reduce the warm-up time during cold starts. This study aims to obtain prospects enabling the use of the combustor for high-efficiency boilers or micro gas turbines.
